My goals are simple as an artist; to inspire others with a detailed up close look at nature, particularly flowers.  I have painted many subjects during my years but have been most intrigued by flora.  To me they are a gift reborn each year in a cycle of new growth, anticipated buds, and vibrant blooming colors.  They are silent beauty often overlooked in our hectic everyday life.  My goal is to share this experience with the viewer through my interpretation of the subjects I paint.
    

Most of my paintings are inspired from photos that I have taken locally.  I illuminate the delicate detail in large scale paintings.  I have been told my work has a meditative and reflective effect.  That is how I felt creating each painting.
